Held in conjunction with the HTML5 Devloper's Conference - get ready for the new wave of games & apps - so join us for the HTML5 Hackathon @ Eventbrite!
Hack on a variety of APIs including new Sibblingz Spaceport (High performance cross platform games/app, Flash-like API using JavaScript), Eventbrite, Betable, MongoDB, Viadeo.
Background in JavaScript, Flash, Games is great for the Spaceport prize, it uses JavaScript and the api is similar to Flash going cross platform to iOS (including iPad), Android and of course web.
The api for Eventbrite is also available in JavaScript. Check it out!
Create a game, an app or a shiny hack.
PRIZES:
We will strive for judging to be completed at the end of day 2 of the Hackathon whenever possible and for the prizes to be awarded right after the judging. Companies donating prizes are responsible for judging.
Each Hackathon Winning team will get one free ticket to the HTML5DevConf (more may be given to those presenting). All Hackathon winning teams will also be announced at the conference. Game related winners and Eventbrite prize winners will also receive a 5 minute preso/demo @ the HTML5DevConf.
